Mission of The Witness Project of WNY

The mission of the National Witness Project is to educate, empower and navigate the community to resources necessary to improve population health outcomes and prevent premature loss of life. We partner and collaborate with stakeholders focused on community building that support healthy living.

We provide cancer education, navigation services to Primary Care, OB/GYN, Mammography and Prostate cancer screenings, and Health Insurance enrollment. We provide Medical transportation services, Voter Registration, Focus groups, Census data collection and other outreach for health-based research and systems change that supports health improvement.

Our Navigators are TRAINED Community Health Workers (CHW's) who can help you navigate health systems and community resources to access your healthcare needs.

Our Outreach Team are TRAINED Community Health Workers (CHW's) who canvas our community to reach under served and never served members of our community and get them connected to affordable preventative care and community resources!
